Chorley and South Ribble – help with energy costs only

The Household Support Fund is not an emergency fund and applications are processed in the order received and all first time applications will be processed before considering second time applications. Please do not chase up your application until at least 10 working days after it was submitted.

White goods and household furniture are not available via the Household Support Fund and you would need to complete this form to get an appointment with us to submit an application to the LCC Under One Roof Household Goods Support Scheme, or select another local partner here – Under One Roof usually only supply second hand or reconditioned items to successful applicants.

The application form below is for Chorley and South Ribble residents to request help with energy and water costs only and if you require other support, please visit the website of your local council to see what support is available via the Household Support Fund.

How to apply for energy support via the Household Support Fund

Please fully complete the form and include everyone who lives in the house with you.
We will require the following evidence to support your application –

  • Copy of a bank statement clearly showing your name, address and a full month of transactions up to and as close to the date of application as possible.
  • Copy of statements for any savings accounts you hold.

If you do not provide complete bank statements, your application will not be considered.

If you are not able to submit the application form or will struggle to upload the evidence, please call at the West Paddock office in Leyland on a Tuesday between 10am and 2pm or the Chorley office on a Wednesday between 10am and 2pm and we’ll assist you.

Once we have received your application, we will send a secure upload link within 2 to 3 working days to the email address you have provided us with where you can upload your evidence to. Once you have done that, we will be able to review your application and if successful, we will provide voucher codes and instructions by email on how to use them. Note: Please check your Spam/Junk folder if you don’t see an email from us in your Inbox.

Due to unprecedented demand, we have had to temporarily close the Household Support Fund application to Chorley and South Ribble residents. Applications already submitted should be processed and you will hear from us in the coming days. We know this will be disappointing, but we are working closely with Council’s and hope to re-open the application form on Wednesday 24th August.
