Network and Development Manager

Location

Flexible within Blackburn with Darwen,
Chorley, South Ribble, West Lancashire
and Wyre local authority areas.

Travel is expected to outreach venues and other offices within our
geographical area of benefit. Expenses for mileage may be claimed
for working outside your local office bases.

The role

As a member of the Senior Management Team you will work closely with the
Chief Executive Officer to identify networking opportunities and funding leads
within a wide geographical area of five local authorities with varying priorities
and localised issues.

The successful candidate will be an experienced manager, with the skills and
expertise to liaise effectively with both internal and external people at all levels.

You should have a good understanding of partnership working and networking
within the third sector environment/local authority setting and be able to
identify opportunities for funding. The ability to translate funding opportunities
into a well budgeted and resourced delivery plan is central.

You should have a soft sales approach, a personality that can open doors with an excellent
knowledge of the product. Experience of working within a Citizens Advice setting
is not essential. The ability to engage at all levels with excellent communication
is key.

Salary and hours

£30,000 to £35,000 pro rata to 37 hours depending upon experience.
Hours of work: 30 -35 hours per week – negotiable.

Help to Claim Adviser

This role will be based at our Skelmersdale and Ormskirk office

The role

Citizens Advice delivers “Universal Support: Help to Claim” which offers end-to-end support to help people make a new Universal Credit claim and be ready for when their first payment arrives.

We are looking for an adviser with good IT skills to support clients to make and complete their new Universal Credit claim, as well as a commitment to the aims and principles of the Citizens Advice Service.

You’ll have the ability to interview clients using sensitive listening and questioning skills to get to the root of the issues and empower clients, whilst maintaining structure and control of meetings.

Salary and hours

£21,634.00 pro rata (£15202.00 for 26 hours)

Debt Administrator

This role will be based at our Chorley office (flexible within geographical area of benefit).

The role

Citizens Advice delivers the Money Advice Debt Advice Project to assist clients
with money advice and debt solutions to include Debt Relief Orders and
Bankruptcy.

We are looking for an administrator with good IT skills to support clients and the
team of debt caseworkers.

You should have a commitment to the aims and principles of the Citizens Advice
Service.

You’ll have the ability to help clients using sensitive listening and questioning
skills to get to the root of the issues and assist debt caseworkers in empowering
clients to find the right solution for their circumstances.

As an administrator you should have excellent IT skills and great interpersonal
skills with attention to detail in the work/tasks undertaken.

Duration

Subject to continued MASDAP funding – currently contracted to 31 March 2022.

Salary and hours

£17,556.00 for 37 hours
