Debt Administrator

We are looking for a Debt Administrator with excellent PC skills, able to navigate various PC systems
easily and use standard typing packages like Word or Google Workspace products and email. You should be able
to liaise with clients to assist caseworkers in progressing the debt solution agreed. An excellent
communicator with patience and understanding to assist vulnerable or stressed individuals and help
them move forward. A flexible approach with problem solving skills, organisational skills with the
ability to prioritise your workload is central to this role.

2 x Trainee Debt Caseworkers (based at Leyland office)

We have two new opportunities for Debt Caseworker positions. Both trained advisers and new comers to the debt service are welcome to apply. Full training can/will be provided

You will

  • have the ability to commit to and work within the aims, principles and policies of the Citizens Advice service
  • be able to work with clients, who may be stressed or vulnerable, with empathy and patience, displaying excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • you should be able to work confidently and independently
  • be willing to work using various platforms which could include phone, webchat, video call or face to face work as required

Excellent PC literacy skills will enable you to work with a variety of computer applications/systems. You should be able to work on your own initiative and be willing to commit to continuous professional development. Good English and Maths qualifications are a prerequisite in applying for this post.
