Food Banks, Food Provision and Meals
Residents of Lancashire who are struggling can turn to independent, not-for-profit food banks, community shops and churches, to get support with food parcels and or meals.
We cannot guarantee the continuing accuracy of the links below and please check the website of the organisation or see if they have a Facebook page before you make contact or turn up.
If you need food in an emergency (same day/next day), you may need to approach one of the organisations who do not require a referral, as some centres who require a referral, are now only open on certain days.
Most organisations have websites and some have Facebook pages with the most up to date information on and you will need to check for any restrictions around COVID-19 or the number of parcels that can be issued.
For any centres that require a referral from us, we will need to ask you personal questions about your living arrangements, your income, ages of children and if you have any pets.
If you need a food parcel from an organisation that requires a referral from us, please contact us on 0808 278 7880 (Mon to Fri 9am to 5pm) or send an online enquiry and we will get in touch with you, usually within two working days.
